βœ… What Is a Native Deletion?

A native deletion is a free content removal from DSPs (Digital Service Providers) when the request is based on reasonable, professional, or legal grounds β€” not user error or negligence.

πŸ” The request is processed directly through the platform and sent to all connected stores.

πŸ“Œ Valid Scenarios for Free Deletion:

1. πŸ”„ Legitimate Change of Ownership

If the ownership of a release changes legally β€” such as a rights transfer, publishing agreement update, or label switch β€” the content can be removed at no cost for re-delivery under the new rights holder.

πŸ“œ Proper documentation must support the request.

2. 🏒 Reasonable Business Restructuring

This includes catalog cleanup, label rebranding, account mergers, or internal organizational changes that require you to remove and relaunch certain assets.

πŸ“Š Example: merging duplicate releases or migrating to a new account.

3. πŸ› οΈ Technical or Metadata Improvements

If it's necessary to re-upload a release in order to improve audio quality, replace damaged files, or correct metadata errors that cannot be updated manually, the native deletion will be allowed.

πŸŽ›οΈ This applies to situations like ISRC changes or updating incorrect track credits.

❗ Important Notes:

Not all deletion requests qualify as native.
If the issue results from user carelessness (like typos or incorrect uploads due to oversight), it may be subject to an economic fee. πŸ’Έ
