🔡 Is There a Setting to Keep Titles in Lowercase on Digital Platforms?

At the moment, there’s no automatic button or setting on most digital distribution platforms to force lowercase titles.

How to Keep Titles in Lowercase

📥 Just type them exactly how you want them when uploading your music (album, single, or track). For example:

  • el amanecer de los días grises

  • sueños en bucle

  • interludio i

🎨 This is perfectly valid as long as it’s intentional and reflects your artistic vision.

⚙️ Will the platforms respect it?

🔍 Some music distributors and digital stores use automated systems to detect “non-standard formatting” — like all lowercase — and might flag it for manual review or automatically adjust it to Title Case (e.g., “Sueños En Bucle”).

🧠 What if it gets flagged or changed?

📄 You can provide an artistic justification, such as:

“The use of all-lowercase titles is an artistic choice that reflects the visual and conceptual identity of the project.”

🎭 Most platforms — including Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer — will respect this if you explain it clearly. They understand and support creative expression.

🚫 What You Should Generally Avoid:

WRITING IN ALL CAPS without a clear reason
This is often rejected for looking like spam or shouting.

Using unusual characters or symbols like ~, //, <>, unless it’s part of the concept
(If it is, you’ll likely need to justify it too.)

🎯 In Summary:

🔸 There’s no toggle or setting to force lowercase,
🔸 But you can submit titles in lowercase intentionally,
🔸 And if the system tries to change them, an artistic justification usually does the trick.
