1. 📅 When do royalties start being generated after I release my music?
Royalties are generated from the moment:

  • Your music is available on the platforms, and

  • Start receiving monetizable plays or downloads .

However, payment is not immediate: stores first close the period, process data, and then send reports.

2. 🧮 Do all streams pay the same?
No. The value of each stream depends on several factors:

  • Country from which they are listening.

  • Account type (free, premium, family, etc.).

  • Business model (subscription, advertising, bundles).

Therefore, the payment for 1,000 streams may vary between releases and periods.

3. 🌍 Why do my earnings appear in a currency other than my country's?
Many platforms consolidate payments into one main currency (e.g., USD) .

  • Revenue generated in other currencies is converted using exchange rates for the period.

  • This may result in slight differences compared to what you expected when converting it yourself.

4. 📉 I see a lot of views, but the money doesn't seem to be that much, is that normal?
Yes, it can happen:

  • Not all streams are worth the same (country, plan, type of use).

  • Some playbacks may not be monetizable (promos, tests, etc.).

  • There are commissions and operating costs included in the distribution model.

The important thing is to review the complete reports and analyze revenue by platform and territory .

5. 💸 What happens if I don't reach the minimum withdrawal amount one month?
In that case, the usual thing is that:

  • Your royalties will accrue to the next period.

  • Once you exceed the minimum, you can request payment.

The funds are not lost; they are simply held until the threshold is met.
