When a TikTok account displays a blue check mark (✔) next to its username, it indicates that it has been officially verified as the authentic presence of a creator, artist, brand, or public figure.

If you're a verified artist, you can now request a dedicated Sounds Tab on your profile .

What is the “Sounds” tab?

The Sounds tab is a special section within your profile that displays in an organized way all the tracks that have been distributed to TikTok through your label or digital distributor.

With this function:

  • Your followers can see all your songs from your profile , without having to search for them manually.

  • Each track can be quickly used to create clips or videos by other users.

  • It helps you boost engagement, organic reach, and viral use of your music on the platform.

How to request the Sounds tab?

If you already have a verified profile, you can request tab activation by following these steps:

  1. Access the following link from a mobile device with the TikTok app installed:
🔗 Sounds Tab Request – TikTok

  2. Sign in with your TikTok account.

  3. Complete the verification form as a musical artist.

  4. TikTok will review your application and, if it meets the requirements, activate the tab on your profile.

Recommended requirements

  • Have a verified account (✔) on TikTok.

  • You must have distributed your songs to TikTok through an official label or distributor (such as UMW Recordings Inc).

  • Have active and relevant musical content on the platform.

Professional Council

Make sure your songs are properly identified with official metadata (artist name, track title, ISRC) and that your TikTok profile matches the registered identity of your releases.

This will make it easier to approve your tab and ensure proper alignment between your posts and your official TikTok presence.
